What is LIFE Pannonic Salt?

Rahmen des LIFE Pannonic Salt Projekts stattgefunden. Die erste Konferenz bietete die Möglichkeit, sich mit Wissenschaftlern und Schutzgebietsmanagern zu vernetzen, um gemeinsam an der Erhaltung von Sodalacken und Salzlebensräumen im Binnenland der Pannonischen Region zu arbeiten. In Vorträgen, Diskussionen und einer Exkursion ins Projektgebiet wurden Themen wie Landnutzungsänderungen oder Auswirkungen der Beweidung und deren Einfluss auf die einzigartigen Salzlebensräume behandelt. Wir bedanken uns bei allen Vortragenden und Teilnehmenden und freuen uns über weitere Zusammenarbeit. . . . Last week the first international conference “Challenges and initiatives for protection of inland salt habitats (1530*)” took place in the framework of the LIFE Pannonic Salt project. The first conference offered the opportunity to network with scientists and protected area managers to work together on the conservation of soda pans and inland salt habitats in the Pannonian region. Lectures, discussions and an excursion to the project area covered topics such as land use changes and the effects of grazing and their influence on unique salt habitats.
