As part of the EU-funded "LIFE-Pannonic Salt" project, excursions to the soda pans in the project area are offered throughout the year. The excursions are specifically aimed at local interested parties and are intended to raise awareness in the region.

As part of the EU-funded project “LIFE-Pannonic Salt,” the Lackenfest will take place on September 13, 2025, as an informational event for the local population. Visitors to this festival can expect a varied program, including an information stand with key details about the project, an entertainment program for children related to the soda lakes, exhibitors with mobile play equipment, and much more. Food and drink will be provided by Burgerzauberei.
